We're a TLC-licensed black car base in Long Island City, Queens, looking for reliable weekend drivers to cover our busiest shifts. If you're keeping a weekday job and want to earn solid money on Fri–Sun, this is built for you. The shift - Friday 5pm – Sunday 11pm (flexible — pick the windows that work for you) - Minimum 16 hours across the weekend - Steady dispatch volume: our weekends run 30% heavier than weekdays, with strong airport demand from JFK and LGA plus Saturday-night Manhattan traffic What you'll earn - 70% commission on every fare, no hidden deductions - $400/week guaranteed minimum if dispatch is slow (rare — last quarter we hit it twice) - Direct deposit every Tuesday for the prior week - Top weekend drivers clear $1,400–$1,800 before expenses Vehicle - Bring your own TLC-plated vehicle Requirements - Valid NYC TLC FHV driver license - Clean driving record, last 3 years (one minor moving violation OK, no DUIs, no suspensions) - Smartphone with our dispatch app installed - Conversational English/Spanish for dispatch and passenger communication - Reliable — drivers who no-show on a confirmed shift get dropped after the second time, no exceptions
